Every year we work together in partnership with Sunraysia Community Health Services to celebrate Walk to School month to encourage primary school students across the region to walk, ride or scoot to and from school during the month of November.

This year was another successful Walk To School event celebrated with Mildura West Primary winning the prestigious trophy. It was all smiles when the students were presented with the giant cheque and trophy in honour of their win. Mildura West had the highest percentage of entries and additionally conducted two Walking School Buses throughout the month demonstrating their strong committed to support their students in remaining active.

All students who entered Walk To School month also received a family pass to visit Mildura Waves to enjoy a swim with their families.

We are incredibly grateful to be a part of such an event and already can’t wait for next year!
