Earlier today (24/12/2021) a number of our Mildura Waves team were notified that they were close contacts, and in line with Government Guidelines, have entered isolation while they await negative test results.
This has significantly reduced our staff availability over the coming days which has unfortunately created the need for us to temporarily remain closed. A clearer picture of our reopening date will be known as our team receive their results and we are aiming to be in a position to share our return date with you early next week.
While the temporary closure of Mildura Waves is less than ideal, our outdoor pools at Irymple, Merbein and Red Cliffs will remain open throughout this period, with the Irymple Pool opening from 8am on Monday (27/12) to support early morning lap swimming.
Further information will be shared with our members regarding account adjustments once our reopening date is confirmed and we ask that you please remain patient while we work through this process.
We understand there are many people in our community who are currently experiencing the same situation and our thoughts go out to everyone who has been impacted this festive season.

We’re extending our short break.
Please be advised that due to a number of our staff remaining in isolation as they await test results in line with Government Guidelines. This continues to significantly affect our staff availability and our facility will remain temporarily CLOSED. With longer then normal testing and result wait times that have largely been affected by the increased volume of people getting tested in our community.
We remain on standby and are working hard to be able to reopen our doors as soon as our staff have been cleared to return to work.
We understand that this has also affected a number of businesses and people in our community and are thanking everyone for their continued support and understanding.
