Mildura Waves was proud to host the prestigious 2025 Victorian Country Long Course Swimming Championships. This incredible three-day event showcased the best of swimming talent, team spirit, and community support with 658 competitors representing 34 individual clubs converging on Mildura from right across the state. The event was a vibrant celebration of swimming excellence, with the enthusiasm and sportsmanship displayed inspiring for all to watch.

• To Swimming Victoria – For entrusting us with such a pinnacle event on the competition calendar, thank you for the privilege of hosting and for your confidence in our region to deliver on the big stage. • To Mildura Rural City Council – The collaboration that went into preparing Mildura Waves for an event of this scale was outstanding, with everyone’s efforts to be ready much appreciated.

A special thanks also goes to all officials, staff and volunteers whose tireless efforts behind the scenes made everything run smoothly. Your dedication and hard work were instrumental in creating an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
