Last month the Australian Government announced the closure of all non-essential services in a bid to halt the further spread of Covid-19 (Coronavirus), including public aquatic facilities and health clubs.
While the latest data suggests that the spread is slowing, it is critical that we remain vigilant and continue to observe the recommendations of the Government to protect our community and ease the pressure on our health care systems across the State. The protection of people’s health and safety remains the highest priority.
It remains unclear at this stage how long the closure will continue to be in effect for, with our team working hard behind the scenes to ensure that as soon as Government advice permits, our facilities, programs and services can resume. Please be assured that we are just as keen as you are to see the centre reopen and are best positioning ourselves to welcome you back with a smile as soon as it is safe to do so.
Despite our current closure, we’re excited to see our change room upgrades continuing to progress at lightning pace, with the latest photos and updates on this project to be provided via our website on Thursday 30 April.
Please stay safe and follow our social media pages and website for the latest information on our facility operations, response and reopening, with new updates to be provided weekly.
