UPDATE ISSUED AT 7.00PM ON 21/07/2021
Following further review the Department of Health have provided updated information for the Mildura Waves Tier 1 exposure times as follows:
- 12/07/2021 – 1.00pm to 2.30pm
- 12/07/202 – 7.00pm to 9.00pm
Anyone who visited the centre during these times is still considered a primary close contact of the individual and must immediately isolate, get a COVID-19 test, and quarantine for 14 days from the date of exposure.
Anyone who visited the centre outside of these times is no longer considered a primary close contact and are not required to quarantine for 14 days; however if you have already been tested, you must continue to isolate until you receive a negative result.
As this latest update shows, the situation may change over time, so it is important to regularly check the Department website for the most current information at https://www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au/exposure-sites
We will also continue to provide updates via our social media pages and website as information is received.
As a Tier 1 Exposure Site, we have been working closely with the Department of Health to follow all safety protocols, including a deep environmental clean of the entire facility. Over the coming days, the Department will be visiting the centre to assist with our preparation for safely reopening which is scheduled for Wednesday 28 July, subject to clearance by the Department and confirmation of restrictions easing.
We wish to once again thank the Department of Health for their professional response to this situation, and the significant level of support being provided at this time.
We also wish to thank the Mildura community for their ongoing patience throughout this latest lockdown and look forward to seeing you again soon.
