Today, Thursday, May 23rd, Mildura Waves hosted a delightful and successful Cancer Council Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea. The event kicked off at 10:30 AM, bringing together the community for a cause close to everyone’s heart—supporting cancer research and raising funds for the Cancer Council.

Our morning tea featured a delicious assortment of treats that delighted all attendees. Plates were filled with freshly baked scones, a variety of fresh fruits, and beautifully decorated cupcakes, all paired with warm, comforting cups of coffee. The atmosphere was vibrant and filled with chatter as guests enjoyed the delectable spread.

A highlight of the morning was our eagerly anticipated raffle. We are thrilled to announce that Moz was the lucky winner of our Sunraysia Cellar Door hamper. The hamper included a selection of goodies from local businesses, as well as family swim passes, making it a prize worth celebrating.

The generosity of our attendees shone through with the raffle and gold coin donations, which together raised a fantastic $300 for the Cancer Council. This contribution will go a long way in supporting cancer research, prevention, and support services.
