Mildura’s water safety calendar has just been boosted with the addition of Life Saving Victoria’s Education Program coming to the region in January 2023!

In partnership with Life Saving Victoria and with support from the Mildura Life Saving Club, the program is a regional and rural inland adaptation to “Beach” Nippers, which aims to build lifesaving and water safety knowledge and skills of children aged 5 to 14 years in open water environments.

The 3 day program boasts a range of fun and engaging dry land and water based activities, with qualified instructors facilitating each session.

For the first time we are pleased to partner with Life Saving Victoria to bring this program to the Mildura community, with the key information outlined below:

Dates: Monday 23 January to Wednesday 25 January 2023 (3 days)
Time:  Option 1 (8.30am – 10.30am) OR Option 2 (11.00am – 1.00pm)
Cost: $50 per student
Location: Mildura Waves Aquatic and Leisure Centre, 180-190 Deakin Avenue, Mildura VIC 3500
