Is it safe to visit your facilities?
There are no known specific risks associated with visiting an aquatic centre or health club, and as such, these facilities are considered at the same risk level as visiting any public facility. At this stage, the risk of the community spreading COVID-19 through our facility is low.
What can I do to protect myself when visiting your facilities?
- Follow all staff instructions, social distancing and hygiene signage at all times.
- Use the provided hand sanitiser stations regularly, particularly when entering and exiting the facility.
- Wash your hands often with soap and running water for at least 20 seconds. Dry with paper towel or a hand dryer.
- Wipe down any equipment you use throughout the centre with the wipes provided.
- Try not to touch your eyes, nose or mouth.
- Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. If you don’t have a tissue, cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve or elbow.
- Maintain at least 1.5 metres distance between yourself and others at all times.
I am sick, can I still visit your facilities?
We encourage anyone who has recently been or is currently sick, or who has been in contact with a confirmed or suspected COVID-19 carrier to remain at home and to seek advice from a medical professional.
What will happen if your facility is classified as a COVID-19 Exposure Site?
We have a specific Exposure Response Plan in place which has been developed based on advice from the Department of Health and includes specific actions for ensuring the health and safety of our staff and customers is protected.
Depending on our classification level, different actions will be taken to ensure this commitment to safety is met.
In the event that we are classified as an Exposure Site, this plan will be activated.
Do I need to wear a face mask?
Yes. In line with the Victorian Government advice, masks must be worn at all times when leaving your home.
Must be worn by all patrons aged 12 years or older, unless medically exempt and to only remove it if:
- Performing any exercise or class that causes you to be out of breath or puffing
- Entering the pool or using showers
Will your staff be wearing masks?
In most cases, yes.
In line with advice from the Department of Health and Human Services, our staff may remove their mask in situations that would create a risk to health and safety related to their work.
Further information regarding this exemption is available at: www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/face-masks-vic-covid-19 or ask to speak to our onsite COVID19 Safety Marshal.
Do I need to be vaccinated to visit your facility?
In line with current Government directions, we have introduced new vaccination requirements for our customers, with all persons aged 16 years or older required to provide proof of their double dose vaccination status or exemption to gain entry.
How do I need to show that I am vaccinated?
Approved options for proving your vaccination status include:
- Your COVID-19 digital certificate which can be accessed through the Services Victoria app, the Express Plus Medicare app or via your Medicare online account through myGov.
- A printed version of the COVID-19 digital certificate or immunisation history statement (available through myGov)
- A signed copy of your exemption form
Further information on how to access your vaccination record is available at: https://www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au/get-your-covid-19-digital-certificate
What if I am not vaccinated?
In line with Government advice, unvaccinated persons or those who cannot provide proof of their vaccination status will not be permitted entry, and penalties may apply to those who do not comply or who carry a fake form of vaccination proof.
Can I visit if I am partially vaccinated?
Unfortunately, you will not be permitted to visit until you are fully vaccinated.
